North Bengal Honey Community Enterprise Participates in the 13th Agro Tech Bangladesh 2025 Exhibition

Dhaka, November 20-22, 2025   The North Bengal Honey Community Enterprise, an initiative supported by Shikkha Shastha Unnayan Karzakram (SHISUK), successfully participated in the 13th Agro Tech Bangladesh 2025 exhibition, held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka. The event was organized by LIMRA Trade Fairs & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. and is widely recognized as one of Bangladesh’s premier platforms for agricultural technology, agro-processing, food innovation, and market linkages.


About the Exhibition

North Bengal Honey Community Enterprise at Agro Tech 2025

The North Bengal Honey Community Enterprise represents a distinctive community-driven initiative comprising more than 300 beekeepers from northern Bangladesh. With the support of SHISUK, the enterprise is committed to promoting sustainable beekeeping practices, enhancing rural livelihoods, and strengthening market access for natural honey producers.

The Rural Development Academy (RDA), Bogura, has played a pivotal role in this initiative by providing technical training, improving production methodologies, and supporting the establishment of "Moubazar," Bangladesh’s first weekly honey market.

At the exhibition, the enterprise showcased three premium varieties of naturally produced honey:

    Blackseed Honey
    Litchi Flower Honey
    Mixed Flower Honey

The stall attracted significant attention from visitors, including traders, development practitioners, and international delegates, who expressed strong interest in the products’ quality, purity, and traceability.
